It was organized as part of the San Francisco Sex Worker Film and Arts Festival.
Marketing, maintaining a professional appearance and ethical standards were among the subjects covered.
The seminar also included practical advice for sex workers on self defense, STDs and avoiding arrest.
Hourly Boom Boom Room for Nursing Home
A special ‘sex room' for sexually frustrated pensioners is being built at an OAP home in Holland.
The Zierikzee Residential Home in Zeeland is set to open the new room next month.
It already has one booking from an 80-year-old resident and her husband.
The facility, already nicknamed the "bounce room" by the elderly residents, will offer couples a double bed, a fireplace and a bottle of wine.
Pensioners do not have to be married to use the room and are also allowed to invite prostitutes along.
More than 150 pensioners live in the home, many of which do not have their own rooms.
"Intimacy with a partner can be difficult in residential homes, and it's important for older people to have a normal sex life," said social worker Corma van der Vlugt.
She if this pilot project proves a success ‘sex rooms' could appear in old peoples' homes across the Netherlands.
Oral sex caused car crash
Police in Romania were shocked to find a car crash was caused because a couple were having oral sex while driving.
The driver lost control on a crowded road, and collided with an oncoming car, reports the local newspaper.
The young man, whose identity was not revealed, admitted to police that he was having a "hell of a time" at the time of the crash.
Police said the couple were still in their car, fully naked, when officers reached the scene of the accident.
The couple were found completely naked in their car by police officers who came to investigate.
A police spokesperson said: "We couldn't believe our eyes but it was the naked truth.
"They were having sex while driving. We hope they have learned their lesson now - not to do anything distracting while driving."
Three persons needed medical help after the crash.
