Can’t Cheat a Cheater
A Jordanian man divorced his wife after discovering that she was also his virtual girlfriend.
Bakr Melhem had been flirting with a woman on an internet chat room for several months.
But, when they finally met up at a bus station, he recognized her as his wife Sanaa.
Bakr Melhem immediately shouted the Arabic words for 'I divorce thee' three times.
The husband had assumed the online identity of Adnan, while his wife had described herself as an unmarried Muslim lady called Jamila whose cultural interests included reading.
Jordanian news agency Petra reports when the man uttered the Islamic words, effectively ending the marriage, the woman responded by calling him 'a liar' before she fainted.

A Romanian man ended up in hospital after he tied string around his penis to avoid going to the toilet.
Vasile Barbulescu now faces months of complicated surgery to correct the damage caused, according to local press.
He was taken to hospital where he admitted wrapping string around his penis to put off going to the toilet until he got home.
Doctors have said they are unsure whether they can repair the damage and say he faces repeated surgery.
Dr Alexandru Iurea who treated the man, said, "He told us he had tied it round really tight. When we finally got it off we saw his penis had massive injuries."
