Question: Hi, I was just wondering how much it will hurt when I go on my honeymoon? I haven’t ever had sex before and nothing has ever been "up there", no fingers, tampons, or anything, and all of my girlfriends tell me that he will really hurt me if he can even get it in the first time at all. What do you think?
Answer: The first time is different for everyone. Some feel pain, some do not. Some have slight bleeding with the breaking of the hymen and some do not. You need to discuss this with your finance...especially before the wedding night. The more tense and worried you are, the less likely you are to enjoy the experience.
Talk with him and make sure to bring plenty of lubrication to help "ease" him inside of you. Also when you start, you may want to start with finger play and lube during foreplay...this should help put you at ease and help to prepare you body for the penis.
You must also relax... talking beforehand will give you both an idea of what you both want out of the experience and will help you both relax. Tune into your bodies and have a great night of lovemaking.
