How can we keep anal sex from getting "messy"?
Question: I really love anal sex! There is one nasty problem, however. Sometimes it can get "messy." What can I do to prevent that? What precautions can I take? I would enjoy anal sex so much more if I had no fear of the "consequences."
Answer: You have three options. (1) If you're regular, enjoy anal sex only after you defecate. Defecation doesn't empty your rectum completely, but the less that's in there, the less there is to get messy. (2) Take a bath or shower beforehand. Soap up your middle finger and gently wash your anal canal, the first inch or two and beyond it, your lower rectum, which extends for another five inches or so. The entire rectum is beyond your reach (or your lover's), but you can cleanse a good deal of it. (3) Take an enema, which can rinse your entire rectum. We like Fleet enemas, which come in fluid filled containers with nozzles attached. Don't squeeze the fluid in. Just let it run in slowly. Even if you take all these precautions, things still may get a bit messy. But messiness should be less of a problem.
